Track Rehearsals Attendance
The RollCaller system can be used to track rehearsals. This is useful if your students are required to attend weekly rehearsals for a minimum number of hours, and you want to verify they meet this requirement. Here is how it is done:
When students arrive to the rehearsal, they simply swipe their ID card into an attendance data collection terminal called the "Collector". If the student does not have an ID card, you might allow them to key in their ID number instead. The Collector will record the student's ID number and the sign-in time.
The Attendance data can then be downloaded to the RollCaller software for reporting. There are two ways to do this reporting:
1. Via USB cable: If you use the Collector as a portable device, you can use a USB cable to download the attendance data to your computer.
2. Via Wi-Fi connection: If you plan to mount the Collector on the wall, you can add the Wi-Fi functionality. The data will then be automatically downloaded via the Web!
Once the attendance data is downloaded, the RollCaller software will provide a convenient report of the attendance of each of your students.
