Track Training Attendance

Do you offer training to your employees or staff and need to track their attendance in the training sessions? RollCaller will make this process a lot easier.

Recently, a Florida hospital ordered the RollCaller system to track mandatory training for their 5,000+ employees. The annual training is required to keep their medicare certification. The hospital administrators needed to make sure that all employees attend one of many training sessions offered. Tracking this with sign-in sheets was a big task. The RollCaller system made this process much simpler. Here is how it works:

A RollCaller data collection device (Collector) was used at each training session. When employees arrived at the training session, they signed in by simply swiping their employee ID card into the Collector. The Collector recorded the employee's ID number and the sign-in time.

The attendance data was later downloaded to the RollCaller software for analysis and reporting. This gave the hospital administrator detailed reports on who attended the training.

Note that there are two ways to use the RollCaller Collector:

1. Portable device: You can use the Collector as a portable attendance tracking device. The Collector is small and light-weight and runs on rechargeable batteries. The attendance data can be downloaded from the Collector via a standard USB cable.

2. Wall-Mounted: The Collector can be mounted on the wall of the classroom or training room. The data from this Collector can be downloaded either via a USB cable, or you can can order an optional Wi-Fi card to enable downloading the data via the web.
